'Entering the birthing portal' - Brie's deep dive inspiration
I have entered the Birth Portal. I traveled to be with dear friends as they bring new life into the world. They’ve decided to have a free birth, which means basically unassisted. There will be a birth keeper, who will intervene only if needed, and myself tending to them in this event. I feel deeply honored to be invited into this momentous journey.
They are in curiosity and deep listening. Trusting what comes, wondering how it will all unfold. They’ve been practicing for some years now how to be in the flow of life and how to embrace each moment (more or less) as a gift or messenger. Occasionally some fear arises and the mind and body kick into action and try to predict and shift potential situations. Then they watch themselves, they breathe, and they consciously move back into curiosity, wonder and trust.
It’s so much like the journey of a Deep Diver. And it’s such a gift for me, as Mother guide, to witness this process and know so well my part in supporting this birth. I’m listening, feeling the energy of the space, watching for crinks (little contractions) in my body which usually tell me something needs attention, openly waiting for the message that comes to me when attention is needed, lovingly sharing my perception/touch if they are welcome, and so on.
It’s been a practice, for me, of opening my sensors. Opening all of me… my pores, my mouth, my seeing, etc to receive the information (in my body) that’s right here in the room with me. Once it lands in me, I sense how to move/what to bring to the space…. Not so much from my mind as it is from my intuitive knowing.
The process my friends (as well as the Deep Divers) are going through in the birth portal is So Many Things! While it’s the creation of new life it’s also the deconstruction of old patterns, the releasing of versions of ourselves that we’ve grown out of, and the grieving of those losses we’re enduring. The brightness of a new life, a new self, a baby is what carries us through the transition.
When I’m holding the beautiful humans in the Deep Dive I am so blessed to feel and witness the purity and innocence of each One. I can actually see them in their pure light frequency…. Remembering truth. Remembering purpose. Remembering Softness and Strength. Remembering Love and Oneness. Soon I will have the honor of watching a new life enter the room… a precious babe. And with that babe, so too will our different versions of God enter the room.
In wonder we will experience the Great Ystery, feeling the radiance of Birth and New Life come as a gift to the world.
What an incredible path I’m on. It is my deep honor to help usher the masses… my family… back into wonder~ back into the Great Mystery of life in human form.
